Wisconsin's Egg Market

WISCONSIN - Wisconsin's egg market Tuesday was unchanged. Trade sentiment was firm for the larger sizes and steady for mediums.

Retail demand was good to very good. Loose egg movement was light to mostly moderate. Supplies were close to very tight for the larger sizes and fully adequate for mediums and small.

Monday's inventories were down 23 percent in Illinois and Indiana, down 20 percent in Ohio, down 8 percent in Iowa and Minnesota, and down 7 percent in Michigan.

Central states breaking stock prices were unchanged. Offerings were adequate for the limited demand. Floor stocks adequate to closely balanced. Schedules mixed. Trade sentiment steady. Prices: extra large 77-85, large 75-83, medium 51-59.
