New country manager for Hybro in Western Europe
THE NETHERLANDS - Dutch broiler breeding company Hybro BV continues to strengthen its commercial team in Western Europe, with the appointment of Mr. Steven Doornewaard as country manager for The Netherlands and Belgium from February 1 2006.

New country manager for Hybro in Western Europe - THE NETHERLANDS - Dutch broiler breeding company Hybro BV continues to strengthen its commercial team in Western Europe, with the appointment of Mr. Steven Doornewaard as country manager for The Netherlands and Belgium from February 1 2006.
Mr. Doornewaard (58) has substantial experience in the poultry sector, having worked for Rotshuizen BV (Starbro-Lohmann) from 1978 -1993, followed by 13 years as country manager for Cobb Europe, where he was responsible for the sales of parent stock in The Netherlands and Belgium. Mr. Doornewaard reports directly to Hybro's area manager Western Europe, Annoeschka te Velthuis-Brandwijk, and will also work closely with Ton van den Broek, Hybro's technical-commercial representative for the region.
Mrs. Te Velthuis says of the appointment: "We are very pleased that Steven has chosen to join Hybro. He knows the market extremely well and will be a strong addition to our team, with key responsibility for further developing relationships with our existing customers in The Netherlands and Belgium, as well as for developing new business. His appointment significantly strengthens our presence in the area."
Steven joins a growing team at Hybro, all of whom are committed to providing fast, effective technical services and shortened lines of communication. "Based on what I have seen over the past couple of years I believe that Hybro will grow significantly," he says, "and I am looking forward to contributing and using my knowledge and experience, to help Hybro grow market share in this important market."
"In 2005, Hybro enjoyed significant growth - primarily due to excellent product performance," says international sales manager Wilfred Folkeringa.
