Cobb Europe moves regional office to UK

UK - One of the world's leading suppliers of poultry meat breeding stock, Cobb has moved its regional office for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) to the UK. The new office at Severalls Business Park, Colchester, Essex, became operational this week.

The new Cobb Europe address will be Oyster House, Severalls Lane, Colchester, Essex CO4 9PD, telephone number +44 (0)1206 835835, fax number +44 (0)1206 756864.

The move consolidates offices in Holland, the UK and the regional management team into one location to lead the growth and development of the overall business in the EMEA region.

The consolidation brings the regional office closer to the UK production facility, one of Cobb's four great grandparent production centres, strategically placed around the world to supply grandparent breeding stock to the growing global network of franchise distributors and also to provide parent stock to direct markets in the region.

Effective utilization of this network enables the company to improve supply continuity and accommodate growth opportunities with all distributors and direct customers in the future. Increased support for the on-going introduction of new Cobb products is also provided by this organization and integration of the supply chain.

For the past four years Cobb Europe has been operating from a regional centre at Putten, in Holland, which will continue to be dedicated to serve the Dutch and Belgian markets. In moving the regional office, the company does not affect its direct participation in these important markets.

"We value our Dutch and Belgian customers and will continue to maintain a strong presence in these markets. A Cobb sales and technical service team will remain to support and optimize customers' performance with our products." says Brian Cosgriff, general manager of Cobb Europe.

Staff have moved to the new Colchester office from Putten and also from the current Cobb facility at East Hanningfield, near Chelmsford. Additional personnel requirements for the new regional office team are being recruited locally.
