Poultry industry counts cost of bird flu
GERMANY - According to a report in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, sales of poultry in Germany have declined by 25% since bird flu was detected in the country mid-February.Sales are down EUR143m (US$171.85m), the paper reported, citing an industry organisation spokesman.
