The contract also signifies Aviagen's commitment to support KGB's efforts to reach the highest levels of product quality.

The Arbor Acres Plus S is a balanced bird that consistently delivers the broiler performance and egg production needed in today's competitive market. It was this balance and consistency that made the Arbor Acres Plus S a good product to meet the production demands of KGB. The first grandparent flocks were delivered in July of 2004 and parent production began in early 2005.

Customers in the Korean market have started to see the first flocks of the AA Plus S broilers and there is a great deal of enthusiasm for the excellent performance that the farmers are achieving. This demand has encouraged KGB to expand and consider all possible ways of increasing the capacity, the efficiency and the biosecurity of the production facilities.

"We have been working successfully with KGB since 2004," said Bob Dobbie, president of international business. "We are pleased to further strengthen this partnership and are excited about the future of both Aviagen and KGB within the Korean market."
