The inspection aisle, the most important feature of the well thought-out Natura60 design, facilitates overall management by remaining free of litter, hens and manure. This means that all eggs - including mislaid eggs -roll off the system automatically and smoothly and can easily be collected from the inspection aisle.

The smaller group sizes in Natura60 aviaries are much easier to control. In the starting phase there are, for example, only 130-140 birds per group. This is a first-time concept in aviary housing. The integrated barrier of the litter area which can be operated either manually or automatically is another feature that ensures more safety when the birds are placed. It also guarantees an ideal first supply for a good start into the laying period.

Natura60 is designed as 2-level system and fully complies with the requirements on alternative layer housing. The aviary can be utilised to the full extend as a single row and allows for the highest utilisation rate of the surface area, even at a building height starting at 2.40 m and standard house width.
