Increased demand for eggs
BARBADOS - The Barbados Egg and Poultry Producers Association says the demand for eggs has increased since it launched a campaign to encourage more people to use the product.Vice president Wayne Clarke, says however there's still some work to be done, to convince people that eggs are healthy.
The egg and poultry producers group launched a campaign a year ago to encourage more people to use eggs.
It included multimedia advertisements as well as a schools competition.
Mr. Clarke says after years of being told that eggs were not good it has been an uphill battle to change people’s perception that they are nutritional.
He also believes that people must also realise that they give value for money.
