"For agriculture the EU could grant 12 billion dollars between 2007 and 2013. The funds regarding direct payments could amount to five billion euros and for rural development, seven billion euros. The 20 percent reduction of the sums for direct payments was discussed.

This is a real risk," said Orban. When talking about management problems, the official referred to the issues concerning the creation and functioning of the payments agencies for agriculture.
