Both systems were demonstrated during the open days. Participants could see for themselves how stacks of egg trays, were taken from the pallets and placed on the infeed belt of the egg grading system fully automatically.

Packing station owner Mr. Roel van Zetten said : ”The Prinzen de-palletizer was developed in close consultation with people from within the industry. Prinzen have succeeded in building a fantastic machine, which functions in our packing station above our expectations.

He went on to say, “We make high demands of this egg handling system. This de-palletizer easily moves 120.000 eggs per hour effortlessly from the pallet to the infeed belt of the egg grader without damaging a single egg. Added to that, the system relieves our operatives from much heavy lifting which in turn ensures “arbo-profit”. With the arrival of this de-palletizer we can now invest further in optimal logistic solutions. The egg container has had its time”.

One of the participants said: “This open day gave me a clear look at the functioning of both the De-palletizer and the Eggs Cargo System. It was a very useful and informative, as well a sociable afternoon.
