Hybro PG+ Meets A New Generation In Venezeula

VENEZUELA - The roll-out of Hybro's fast-growing PG+ continued last month, with a series of presentations for leading poultry companies in Venezuela. For many of those attending - this was the first time they had met the Dutch breeding company.

Hosted by Hybro's Mexico-based regional manager Carmelo Corral and Venezuelan agent Jose Alejandro Izaguirre, product manager Jos Hooijer and technical manager Romain Mechelaere travelled from Hybro's headquarters in The Netherlands, to visit a number of prominent breeding and production companies.

The Hybro team presented the latest performance data, gathered from integrations throughout the region. And for many of the companies visited, this was their first acquaintance with Hybro's fast-growing broiler, the PG+, which delivers unbeatable weight for age, a compelling feed conversion ratio and the lowest cost price for live or dressed broilers.

"We received a very warm welcome here, and we have enjoyed a few good, intensive days while presenting our company and products," says Carmelo Corral, "The PG+ has been developed to fit the demands of this growing market, and now that we are in a position to demonstrate genuinely competitive field results, we're very keen to do so."

At Pinpollo and Avidoca, two of the largest, fully integrated companies in the western part of the country, Hybro presented to the companies' technicians - many of whom had never encountered Hybro or its products in their careers to date. "We presented to all the technical people of these two companies." Carmelo continues. "It was great to see so many new faces and to meet the sector's new generation."

While visiting leading feed company Agrobueyca, Hybro met with integrated farmers and customers, including Superpollo, with whom the Dutch breeding company is about to make its first deliveries.

The Hybro team then travelled on to Venpollo, where the Dutch breeding company has once again regained business in Venezuela. Here, the day began with visits to some of the company's broiler farms, followed in the afternoon by Hybro's technical and performance presentations.

The final day of the mini-tour was spent with La Caridad, Venezuela's leading Poultry Company.

Hybro is, says Carmelo Corral, looking forward to building - and re-building - strong, mutually-beneficial partnerships in Venezuela.
