Ms. Anke van der Steen, Hybro’s country manager India for the past twelve months, has been promoted to regional manager South Asia. In her new role, Anke is responsible for customer care and business growth in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Afghanistan.

Mr. Bas Kanters, currently country manager Indonesia, takes up the role of country manager Malaysia in addition to his existing responsibilities. Both report to area manager Mr. Vladimir Walk, who says of the changes: “Over the past year, Hybro has secured strong growth in Asia.

“Our products are delivering excellent results for a growing customer base throughout the region. In their expanded roles, Anke and Bas will ensure that we continue to meet our commitment to delivering excellent products and technical service, by shortening lines of communication to offer greater accessibility for our customers.”

Anke started work as Hybro’s country manager India a year ago, after completing Nutreco’s two-year training programme and completing several successful projects for the company. She will be located in Bangalore, India. Bas joined Hybro in November 2005 as country manager Indonesia, when he moved to Jakarta with his family from The Netherlands.

“Both Anke and Bas have consistently demonstrated the quality of their skills and experience,” concludes Mr. Walk, “while building excellent relationships with customers throughout the region. “With these new assignments, we expect to further strengthen those relationships – and build many more, to secure and expand Hybro’s marketshare here in Asia.”
