Aviagen Supports Iranian Customers

THE NETHERLANDS - Aviagen, the world's leading poultry breeding company, recently held a training course designed specifically for Iranian customers in the Netherlands.

The course, entitled Arbor Acres Practical Poultry Training, was put together with distributor Ajdade Eram Company and PTC+, an organisation based in the Netherlands who provide bespoke, practical courses in various agricultural areas. The course lasted two weeks and consisted of a mixture of practical sessions and visits to industry suppliers of poultry equipment.

The participants also took part in a series of lectures by Aviagen and PTC+ staff, which complemented the course. The lecture subjects included Feeding and Nutrition by Carolyne Kemp, Technical Development Manager - Nutrition and Craig Morton, Global Product Director, spoke about Genetic Developments in Arbor Acres. Dr Barry Thorp, Company Veterinarian, discussed various veterinary aspects and Puzant Dakessian, Technical Service Manager talked about feeding breeders after peak.

Eshagh Drarkenari, Behparvar Product Manager said: "Arbor Acres has identified the importance of this kind of practical training and the PTC+ college, with their on site farms and facilities, is the ideal location and all the attendees have benefited immensely from this programme."
