We believe, in partnership with industry-leading National Provisioner, MPX will continue the growth started by the Watt Publishing team

Greg Geisler, President and CEO of VerticalXchange.

"We have decided to sharpen our focus on markets where we have a dominant leadership position, and believe that BNP is positioned to expand upon the success we have had with the MeatProcessingXchange," said Greg Watt, CEO of Watt Publishing Company.

Xchange events are private, invitation only events, for senior level buyers and sellers in their respective industries with one-on-one strategic meetings from both the buyer and seller teams. All meetings are pre-planned with buyers and sellers deciding on agendas for each of their meetings in advance of the event. This results in high-level strategic discussions with no distractions that focus on future initiatives and business goals.

"Combined with our other successful Xchange events, including ProductInnovationXchange (PIX) for food ingredients, ProcessTechnologyXchange (PTX) for food processing equipment and PackagingXchange (PAX) for the packaging market, MPX is a compelling fit for BNP Media, which continues to be our largest event partner. We believe, in partnership with industry-leading National Provisioner, MPX will continue the growth started by the Watt Publishing team," said Greg Geisler, President and CEO of VerticalXchange.

The National Provisioner is the leading magazine covering the $149 Billion meat and poultry processing marketplace with the most circulation and most advertising pages in the market.* The MeatProcessingXchange is held June 8-11, 2008 in Park City, UT.
