The three events, held in Pretoria, Cape Town and Natal, were attended by over 200 representatives from the South African poultry industry. The delegates enjoyed presentations on a whole host of topics, including the influence of female management on hatchability, the importance of good chick start, breeder production from 15 weeks onwards and lighting programmes to maximise broiler performance.
