Angola: Peasant Families Get Training in Poultry-Breeding

ANGOLA - Some 750 peasant families of Caala District, in central Huambo Province, will benefit from a training programme in the field of poultry-breeding and prevention against a birds illness named Newcastle.

The training, which will last three months, started last Monday and involves 30 peasants. It is being organised by the German non-governmental organisation Agrarian Action.

Funded by the European UnionEuropean Union, the course has a goal to improve the living standards of the peasant families and assure social and economic development of Caala population.
