Kruno will assume his responsibilities in December and will report to Jonny Harrison, Area Technical Manager for the region. Kruno is Croatian and his initial focus will be to support customers in the Balkans.

Kruno has a diploma in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Zagreb and for the last five years has worked as a Breeder Farm Manager with Koka, one of Aviagen's major customers in Eastern Europe.

Over the next few months Kruno will undergo an intensive induction programme to develop his knowledge of Aviagen's products and technical services. To achieve this he will be working closely with Jonny and the rest of the team in Eastern Europe and also colleagues in the UK.

Jonny Harrison commented: "We are delighted to welcome Kruno to the team. He has an excellent combination of academic knowledge and practical skill and experience which will prove an important asset to the team and will be of great benefit to Aviagen's customers in the region. I have been working with Kruno in his previous role and have been very impressed with his technical experience and know-how which has helped him to win one of Aviagen's prestigious Ross flock awards."
