Buying Habits Will Alter US Export Market
CHINA - USDA is advising US exporters to invest in market research before launching new products into China. Although Chinese Customs reports a total agriculture, fisheries and forest product imports of over $40 billion for 2006, and imports of consumer-oriented agricultural products of almost $5 billion, buying habits are changing. There have been set backs fro traditional commodity products such as beef, pork and poultry.
