The annual event, which has moved to Pizza Hut Park this year because of its growing popularity, is the largest event of its kind in Collin County, organizers say.

"We did some research, and we've yet to find any egg hunt larger than this in the whole state," said Marcy Jones, superintendent of recreation for the city of Frisco. "If there is one out there, we haven't found it yet."

Children aged 12 and under are invited to go in search of the more than 60,000 eggs up for grabs. The egg hunt, which begins promptly at 10:30 a.m., will be at fields 9 through 13.

Children should be lined up and ready to go by 10:20. Then, Ms. Jones said, hang on to your bonnets – the hunt will go quickly.
