Fire at Pilgrim’s Pride Protein Plant
US - A fire broke out at a Pilgrim's Pride protein conversion plant in Mount Pleasant, Texas, late on 21 July.
A fireman was injured but no employees, reports Meatingplace.
One shift was lost at the affected plant but the company's chicken processing plant nearby did not have to close.
