Hubbard Polska Technical Seminar Welcomed 150 Participants

POLAND - On 4-5 June, Hubbard Polska organised its 17th Hubbard Technical Seminar for the Polish poultry industry in Podlesice. It was attended by more than 150 participants, representing the majority of the parent stock and broilers farmers, hatcheries, processing plants and feed companies, from all over the country.

The international and national speakers covered interesting topics, including the global and EU poultry meat markets by Paul van Boekholt (Global Marketing Director, Hubbard); the current and future situation of the Hubbard company and its products by Dr Andrzej Rosinski (General Manager, Hubbard Polska) and Frederic Fagnoul (Geneticist, Hubbard) and maximising the hatchery results of the Hubbard Flex and Hubbard F15 through improved incubation technology by Nicolas Neyra (Senior Technician and Hatchery Specialist, Hubbard).

Professor Piotr Szeleszczuk of the Agricultural University of Warsaw focused on 'Adenovirus contamination in breeder flocks' and Dr Mariusz Urbanowski of VetTrade lectured about 'The prevention of immunosuppressive diseases in poultry production'

The seminar also allowed time for the participants to enjoy the special Silesian meals and a walk on the beautiful Zborow mountain.

The next Hubbard Polska Technical Seminar will be organised in 2010.
