Industry trends and developments of today and tomorrow are on the agenda of the exhibition and its side-events. VIV Europe organisers says it is the 'hot spot' for worldwide breaking innovations.

In 2006, VIV Europe successfully confirmed its role as the major international trend setting platform for the top of the animal production and meat processing industry. This was reflected in record ratings from the preliminary visitors' and exhibitors’ questionnaire results. International visitors rated the trade fair with no less than an 8.0. The exhibitors' rating was 7.1. The exhibition welcomed 21,984 visitors from 126 countries. Exhibitors from all over the world chose VIV Europe 2006 as the platform to introduce their innovations. The large numbers of international top decision makers attending the fair were evident.

Project manager Wendy Voermans explained, "VIV Europe is the one-stop meeting place when it comes to a full overview of the global industry's most inspiring innovations for future farming. Worldwide breaking innovations can be found at VIV Europe. On a worldwide scale, it is clear that taking larger investment decisions is in the hands of fewer people. These are the high quality visitors at VIV Europe. The world really unites here."
