Belgorod Leads in Poultry Output
RUSSIA - Belgorod region leads the poultry output in Russia.

For nine months of 2008, agricultural organizations of the region sold about 309,900 tons of live poultry, up 34.1% on the same period of 2007, according to Meat Russia. The region is the leading poultry producer in Russia.
Belgorod Region's share of agricultural organizations' poultry production amounts to 41.7% of the Central Federal District total production. Moscow Region is the second largest poultry producer with output of 113,500 tons.
