HK Suspends Thai Poultry Import Applications

HONG KONG - The processing of applications for importing poultry and poultry products from Thailand to Hong Kong has been suspended following confirmation of an avian influenza case on a farm in the country.

The Centre for Food Safety is seeking further information on the case from Thai authorities.

No poultry product from Thailand has been imported into Hong Kong since the centre resumed processing of applications for importing poultry meat and poultry products from the country in September.
