WHO: Human Cases of Bird Flu Reach Eight This Month
GLOBAL - The World Health Organization (WHO) has again updated its table on confirmed human cases of the H5N1 virus. The number of cases since 2003 now stands at 403, 254 of whom have died. There have been eight cases of the disease so far this year (six in China and two in Egypt), including four deaths (all in China).WHO has published the latest statistics for the cumulative number of confirmed human cases of H5N1 avian influenza A reported.
