Poultry Meat Output Rising Exponentially

RUSSIA - Poultry meat output has increased at a rate of 18 per cent per year, and this is expected to rise to 25 per cent.

The Russian poultry market is characterized by reduction of import product share and stimulation of domestic producers, reports Meat Russia.

The improvement of activity of agricultural organizations is largely linked with implementation of state programme on development of agriculture and regulation of agricultural product, raw material and food markets between 2008 and 2012. Recently, the average growth rate of domestic market has been about 18 per cent per year. And it is expected that in future, it will reach 25 per cent per year.

These estimates were reached using Amiko, the most efficient model of animal breeding complex is the one which specializes in poultry breeding (chicken) and broiler and egg production. Supply to regional markets is supposed as well. The largest share of financial expenses under the project is represented by construction of production facilities for a poultry plant (about 55 per cent, and investments are usually paid off within six years.
