The 2009 International Poultry Scientific Forum was held on 26-27 January 2009, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Sponsored by the Southern Poultry Science Society, the Southern Conference on Avian Diseases and the US Poultry & Egg Association, the Forum presented information on industry topics such as environmental management, nutrition, physiology, pathology, processing and products and avian diseases.

During this event, Casey R. Waneck of USDA-ARS-SPARC-FFSRU, College Station, Texas received a Certificate of Achievement for the outstanding graduate student research presentation at the annual meeting of the Southern Poultry Science Society.
