Nigeria Clear of Bird Flu
NIGERIA - The veterinary authorities have sent a report to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE), indicating there have been no new outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) since their previous report in July 2008.
The Nigerian veterinary authority sent the Follow up Report No. 1 dated 3 March to OIE.
The report says there have been no further outbreaks of HPAI since the previous report dated 25 July 2008.
