The 20th Biennial Recent Advances in Animal Nutrition - Australia Conference will bring together animal nutrition experts to discuss issues that are of importance to industry and are at the forefront of research and the development of new knowledge.

The 2009 conference marks 32 years since the inception of Recent Advances. Over this time, Recent Advances has developed from a small, informal meeting of animal nutrition scientists, to Australia's leading animal nutrition conference, attracting researchers and practitioners from throughout the world. This conference is unique in Australia as it brings together the commercial and research sectors of the animal nutrition community.

The conference covers the nutrition of all animals and speakers are encouraged to speculate on future directions and to explore new ideas, particularly where they cross animal species or conventional disciplinary boundaries.

The organisers have announced the Call for Papers for the conference and invite you to submit a paper for either a Plenary Presentation or a Contributed Presentation. All papers presented at the conference will be published as a peer-reviewed volume.

Recent Advances will be held from Sunday 12 to Wednesday 15 July 2009 at Duval College on the campus of the University of New England, Armidale, New South Wales, Australia.
