A'Saffa to Meet Qatar Poultry Needs

QATAR - A'Saffa Poultry based in Oman is to supply Qatar with 20 per cent of its poultry and egg demands.

The deal worth $68 million was signed with Hassad Food in Qatar.

The farm project will have a capacity of 17,000 tonnes of chicken per annum and 90 million eggs, according to a report in Arabian Business.

Hassad Food is Qatar's main investor in the agriculture and livestock sector. The project is expected to be running within 30 months.
