Japan Accepts Korean Poultry Again

SOUTH KOREA - Korea has resumed exports of poultry to Japan.

South Korea has re-started fresh poultry exports to Japan after being shut out of the market following the 2006 bird flu outbreak, the government said today.

Yonhap reports that the Ministry for Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries said all properly processed chicken and duck meat can be shipped to Japan without restrictions.
