The eggs from the Kashmir Valley are all set to hit the international market for the first time, according to Calcutta News.

The Tramboo poultry farm of the region has cracked an international deal, after capturing the domestic market. The eggs, popularly known as 'desi eggs' are in more demand than the eggs that are produced in other states.

Nazir Ahmad Tramboo, managing director of Tramboo poultry, said: There is a huge demand for the Kashmiri eggs. We supplied eggs to Kashmir region, and then to Ladakh, after capturing Ladakh's market, we captured Delhi and Jammu market, then we supplied eggs to five-star hotels.

"Now we will supply eggs to the international market, after few formalities are completed. With God's grace, I think the formalities will be completed soon, after that a direct flight from Kashmir to Dubai will carry our orders (eggs)."

Presently, Tramboo poultry farm produces at least 30,000 eggs a day and in the coming months, the production of these eggs is expected to touch 100,0000 per day.
