SK to Enforce Packaging Rules on Egg Products
SOUTH KOREA - South Korea will enforce mandatory labelling and packaging rules on all egg products sold on the market to enhance consumer rights and deal with substandard products, the government said today.According to Yonhap News, the farm ministry said the new rules. which will go into effect on 1 January 2011, calls on egg producers to clearly show the date of production, shelf life and have labels with the name of the packaging company.
