Committee Hearing on Keeping Chickens Postponed
ISRAEL - The Knesset Education Committee yesterday postponed a hearing scheduled for Monday on regulations for keeping chickens for the egg industry under the laws of preventing cruelty to animals.The discussion was delayed because the committee had not received proposals for revised regulations as of Sunday afternoon.
The committee is waiting for the Agriculture Ministry to make proposals in line with European standards, reports IsraelNationalNews.com
