Hong Kong will resume importing fresh poultry products from South Korea today (7 September), lifting its four-month import ban following the outbreak of low pathogenic avian influenza here, the South Korean government official told Yonhap.

"We were able to resume our exports at an early date as the government actively explained its quarantine measures to prevent a recurrence of low pathogenic avian influenza to the Hong Kong government," the Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries said in a press release.
