This was announced today in a press statement issued by SAM and Dow Jones Indexes. After the initial publication of the 2010 sustainability scores in September 2010, SAM identified an issue in the software used to evaluate the results of the Corporate Sustainability Assessments and announced a reassessment of the 2010 scores. This review has now been completed.

In 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2009 DSM was also named the worldwide sustainability No. 1 in this sector, while in 2007 and 2008 the company ranked amongst the top leaders in the sector.

"We are very proud to have continued the No. 1 position in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index," said Feike Sijbesma, chairman of DSM's Managing Board. "It is the recognition of our continuous efforts in sustainability. Our full commitment to sustainability is shown every day in our products and innovations. Sustainability is one of the growth drivers of DSM and is the core value of the company."
