This is a weekly report by the USDA's Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), looking at international developments concerning the poultry industry. This week's review looks at Chile's egg industry industry.

January-September imports of dried, liquid and frozen egg products have increased 21.5 per cent from 2009 to 2010. So far in 2010 frozen and liquid albumin has been the most common egg product imported, approximately 60 per cent of egg product imports. Canada continues to be the largest supplier of egg products to the United States. An estimated 90 per cent of the United States egg product imports so far in 2010 has come from Canada.
