The Poultry Market Intelligence Forum at the International Poultry Expo will examine current economic conditions in the poultry industry along with the outlook for the US and global markets for 2011. The programme is sponsored by US Poultry & Egg Association and the National Poultry & Food Distributors Association. The 2011 edition of the world's largest poultry industry event is set for 26 to 28 January at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. The Poultry Market Intelligence Forum is scheduled for 28 January.

USPoultry president, John Starkey, "The Market Intelligence Forum has been one of the most popular programs on the Expo schedule since its inception three years ago. The markets are critical in our industry, so it's important to stay informed on today's conditions and projections for the future. This programme keeps industry leaders up to date on the various factors that impact financial performance."

The programme will feature noted industry economists Mike Donohue (Agri Stats), Dr Paul Aho (Poultry Perspective) and Jim Sumner (president of the USA Poultry & Egg Export Council). Mr Donohue and Dr Aho will discuss the issues that will affect poultry markets in 2011, and Mr Sumner will update the export situation and what he expects in the poultry trade arena next year.
