Better Technology Needed to Feed the World

GENERAL - A special report on feeding the world, ‘The 9-billion people question,’ appears in this week’s issue of the Economist, as the world continues to grapple with a global food crisis. The author is the Economist‘s globalization editor, John Parker. In an article titled ‘Doing more with less’, Mr Parker argues that ‘the only reliable way to produce more food is to use better technology.’
