Israel Reports Another Six ND Outbreaks
ISRAEL - There were six new outbreaks of Newcastle disease (ND) in the north of the country over the last month.

The authorities sent Follow Up Report No. 6 on 6 February 2011 to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) between 5 January and 2 February.
The six farms – with layers, broilers and village flocks – in the regions of Hazafon and Haifa involved a total of 60,294 birds, of which 13,272 were affected and 3,050 died. The remaining 50,644 birds have been culled.
