Cherkizovo Acquires Mosselprom
RUSSIA - The country's biggest meat producer, Cherkizovo, says it has acquired poultry company, Mosselprom.

The deal has been agreed for an undisclosed sum, strengthening Cherkizovo's grip on the Russian food sector.
Cherkizovo, which earlier this week posted a 21 per cent rise in 2010 profit to $144.4 million, said in a statement that Mosselprom had a two per cent share of Russia's poultry market, compared to Cherkizovo's seven per cent.
