US - Shell eggs broken totaled 170 million dozen during January 2011, up 8 per cent from January a year ago, according to the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) in their monthly Egg Products report for January 2011.Shell eggs broken totaled 170 million dozen during January 2011, up 8 per cent from January a year ago, but 4 per cent below the 177 million dozen broken last month.
January 2011 contained 21 weekdays and 5 Saturdays. January 2010 contained 21 weekdays and 5 Saturdays.
