GD Runs PTS for IBV & Mycoplasma
NETHERLANDS - GD Animal Health Service is organising proficiency testing schemes (PTS/Ring Trials) for infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) and Mycoplasma gallisepticum/Mycoplasma synoviae (Mg/Ms) antibody detection in serum.

The goal of the PTS is to determine the performance of individual laboratories for specific tests. The PTS are officially accredited according to the international guideline ILAC G13:2007.
Time schedule for the PTS:
- Closing date for the application: 28 April 2011
- Shipment of the samples: week 19, 9 May 2011
- Submission of the test results: week 25, 20 June 2011
- Draft report: week 27, July 2011
- Final report: week 34, August 2011
