Israel Reports 13 Newcastle Disease Outbreaks
ISRAEL - There were 13 new outbreaks of Newcastle disease in poultry in the first two weeks of this month.

The veterinary authority sent Follow Up Report No. 13 dated 13 April to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE).
The report outlines 13 new outbreaks of Newcastle disease in commercial and backyard poultry between 29 March and 11 April.
In total, 509,105 birds were involved, of which 51,070 showed symptoms, 10,820 died and 483,285 have been destroyed.
