The free range eggs, launching initially with Tesco, will appear on shelf from today (4 April) and for every pack bought 15p will be donated to the Help for Heroes charity, supporting wounded British troops.

Continuing with the playful reference to Eggs for Soldiers, the new pack design is in true military style, with a khaki background colour and bearing an egg & soldiers resembling a medal on the front. This emphasises the brands message that supporting our wounded Heroes really is that easy with an everyday food staple such as eggs.

The launch will be supported with a targeted PR media approach, including social media activity from integrated marketing agency Haygarth. A website hosting the campaign activity www.eggsforsoldiers.co.uk has been created, enabling consumers to find more information about the campaign.

Steve Horton, spokesperson for Noble Foods, comments: “We’re extremely proud to be working with Help for Heroes and we’re really excited about the new Eggs for Soldiers brand. We hope that people will see these packs and realise it’s so easy to support the brave men and women who, in joining the Armed Forces know that they may risk it all for our country."

Here at Noble Foods, we are committed to following the highest standards of animal welfare across all products, a factor that we believe results in great tasting food

Help for Heroes spokesperson, Bryn Parry, co-founder & CEO, comments: ‘H4H is all about ‘doing your bit’ and Noble Food’s pledge to support us with their new egg brand is fantastic. The money that will be raised is greatly needed and it is hugely appreciated. On behalf of everyone at Help for Heroes and all those who the money will benefit, thank you and enjoy the year ahead!’
