Work with ANPVR, which represents Morocco's beef, sheep and goat producers, will include bringing beef farmers from its different regions to the Meknes agriculture fair for a programme on livestock crossbreeding, the use of high quality feeds and co-production inclusion in feeds, according to USGC.

The Council-ANPVR initiative will also support publications with information in French and Arabic on the use of DDGS in ruminant feeds and workshops throughout the rest of the year on producing high quality beef in Morocco by using commercial feeds that incorporate feed grains and co-products.

In the poultry sector, the Council will work with FISA, the Moroccan poultry association, on chicken and egg promotions and on a major effort to tackle problems with the enforcement of regulations on poultry sales to the commercial processed poultry market, which represents more than a third of Morocco's broiler output.
