The veterinary authority sent Follow Up report No. 1 dated 28 June to the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE).

The report describes the finding of the LPAI virus at another farm in Creil in Flevoland, this time in a flock of 7,000 meat turkeys. The flock reacted PCR-positive during surveillance in the 3-km screening zone implemented following the previous outbreak in Creil.

The presence of the H7N7 sub-type of the virus has been confirmed.

Screening in the 3-km zone has been finished. Screening by blood sampling and swabbing on the surrounding premises in this zone has revealed no positive results.
