Technical Seminars Held in South Africa

SOUTH AFRICA - Hy-Line International and Hy-Line South Africa recently teamed up to hold technical seminars in conjunction with Avi Africa, which was held in Johannesburg in early June.

Avi Africa, the South African Poultry Association's annual conference and poultry show, attracts poultry producers from across the African continent and reported record attendance this year.

The two seminars were very successful and well attended by Hy-Line South Africa customers and commercial egg producers from across the country and Hy-Line parent stock distributors from around the African continent. Dr Doug Grieve (Hy-Line president) and Dr Neil O'Sullivan (Hy-Line R&D director) gave presentations on topics including genetic updates of Hy-Line commercial layers, lighting programmes, pullet management and disease prevention.
