Georgia International Poultry Short Course

US - Application are invited for the International Poultry Short Course, organised by the University of Georgia and to be held at the University in Athens on 27 to 31 January 2012.

This is a 3.5-day course designed by the Department of Poultry Science that covers a broad range of topics of interest to individuals new to the poultry industry, as well as experienced professionals. In addition to formal instruction, demonstrations in various areas of poultry science will be conducted at the University research facility in Athens. During this programme, participants will have the opportunity to interact with experts in many areas.

The course will immediately follow the International Poultry Exposition in Atlanta. Tuition for the conference is US$800, which includes all luncheons and basic materials for the course. Other meals, lodging and transportation are not included. Translation to Spanish may be available based on participant applications. Space is limited to 50 participants and registration closes on 20 January, so please register early to ensure acceptance. A minimum of 10 participants is required. If this critical mass is not achieved registration funds will be refunded. Cancellation of registration less than two weeks prior to event will result in being billed for the course.
