Haiti Broilers is in the process of establishing; a small feed mill, hatchery and pullet rearing operation just north of the capital, Port Au Prince, which should be operational in December 2011.

Haiti Broilers has a team of technical staff and vets working countrywide to sell chicks, pullets, feed and equipment to the farming community, while providing sound advice on proper farming techniques.

Work is underway to establish a distribution network through farm stores able to provide a smooth flow of inputs for farmers.

For the last year during the development phase of the operation, chicks and feed have been shipped in from Jamaica. The response by the Haitian farming community has been warm and welcoming, as old farmers and new entrants welcomed the provision of technical advice and supplies from a source with a track record of working closely with farmers of all sizes to build profitable operations.
