The Pericoli Regional Office in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia officially open its doors for business on 1 June this year.

The primary role of this office will be to function as a local extension of the Pericoli sales and customer service centre in Albenga Italy.

The office will be able to provide the company's customers with sales, customer service and technical support during their normal business hours.

It is fully integrated with the main factory/administration data processing systems and can thus truly operate as an effective extension and provide greater service and support with shorter lead and reaction times.

The office is now staffed by Kate Chiew, the Office administrator/sales & customer service assistant, in support of the sales team comprising of the Sales Manager Joe Chong (Asia) and the newly appointed Regional Technical Sales Representative Naresh N. Narayanan, who is responsible for the Indian Region (The sub-continent).

Mauro Pericoli (Sales Director) said: "We anticipate that this Asian office team will be further expanded in 2012 to meet the very positive response to their recent presence in the region."

He added that further growth and developments in the region are being considered.
